Questions

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about the games, phones and tablets, safety, scores and sending ideas.

Are the games really free?

Yes. Every game is free to play, with no download, no sign-up and nothing to buy inside the games.

Do I need to download or install anything?

No. The games run in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers. You can add the site to your home screen if you'd like it to open like an app.

Do the games work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Every game works with touch. Action games show on-screen buttons on phones and tablets, and a few of the wider games are easier with the phone turned sideways.

Is Games Community suitable for children?

Most of the games are made for all ages. There's no chat, no accounts and no tracking. The Card Room, with blackjack and poker, is for adults only and asks players to confirm they're 18 or over.

Why is the Card Room 18+ if there's no real money?

PEGI, the European age rating system, rates any game that looks like casino gambling as 18+, even with pretend chips. We follow the same rule. The chips can't be bought, won or cashed out.

Can I win real money or prizes?

No. Nothing on the site involves real money or prizes. Scores are just for fun.

How are the difficulty levels different?

Every game has Easy, Medium and Hard. On board games the computer thinks further ahead. On action games things move faster or there's less room for mistakes. Each game's page explains exactly what changes.

How do I send an idea for a game?

Use the Send an idea form. Describe what you do in the game and why it's fun. If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian to send it for you.

What happens after I send an idea?

We read every idea. If it's a good fit, we email you, build it together and send you test versions. When it goes live, your nickname goes on it unless you'd rather stay anonymous. You agree to give up any rights to the idea so we can build and share it.

Where are my scores saved?

Best scores and settings are saved only in your own browser, on your own device. We never see them. Clearing your browser's site data resets them.

Do you use cookies or trackers?

No cookies and no advertising trackers. We count visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly counter that doesn't use cookies, doesn't keep IP addresses and can't follow you around the web. The fonts and game files are hosted on the site itself.

How do I report a bug or suggest an improvement?

Every game has a feedback box underneath it. Tell us what you'd change and which level you played. The most-wanted ideas go into the next version.

Will there be more games?

Yes. New games are added regularly, and many of them start as ideas from players.
